Ultrasound cutting machine is a kind of equipment which uses ultrasonic energy to cut. Its biggest characteristic is cutting without cutting edge. In other words, we don't need the traditional edge. Traditionally, cutting tools with sharp edges are used to press the material to be cut. When the pressure is concentrated at the edge, the pressure is very large, which exceeds the shear strength of the material being cut. When the molecular bond of the material is pulled apart, it is cut off. Because the material is pulled apart by strong pressure, the cutting edge of the cutting tool should be very sharp, and the material itself should bear relatively large pressure. For soft, elastic materials, cutting efficiency is not high.
